Hi. You may call me Blue.
My journey into reading began when I was four years old. I remember reading almost an entire collection of short stories for my reading class in nursery school — before classes had even begun. It was love at first page.
I loved adventure stories when I was in kindergarten. In middle school, R.L. Stine got me hooked on his Goosebumps series that I actually dreamed of becoming a writer. When I was eleven, I fell in love with one of the greatest characters this world had even seen: Sherlock Holmes.
In the years that followed, I switched from horror to mystery to classics. I became fascinated with children’s books and developed a love-hate relationship with young adult novels. In between those years, I managed to squeeze in some adult novels, fiction and nonfiction alike.
Three decades of my life later, I never thought that I would be working in a library. Life is good. With books, even better.
